1. PROGRAM

A) Coastal Bend Green Built Program will be administered by a standing committee appointed by the BACC Board of Directors.

B) The Council will be composed of seven members comprised of three (3) builders and four (4) associate members.

C) Members will serve one year terms. Members will have the option of serving a second one year term. If members choose not to serve second term, Board may nominate replacements.

D) Program will be self-funded by member fees.

2. MEMBERSHIP

A) Membership will be available to all builders and associates on a voluntary basis

B) Membership in Coastal Bend Green Built (CBGB) is not limited to BACC members but non-BACC members will be charged an additional fee.

C) A New Member Orientation will be required for anyone requesting to be a part of CBGB. At the orientation, applicants for CBGB will be provided with an information packet, which includes Enrollment Sheet, CBGB Checklist, Home Application, Code of Ethics, Fee Sheet Builder Application and a Benefit Sheet.

D) Members will be able to download additional forms from CBGB website, once website has been set up.

E) Members will submit their enrollment sheet and enrollment fee at the new member orientation.

F) Members will be presented with Lapel Pins, indicating CBGB membership at next, regularly scheduled luncheon.

G) Promotional items will be provided upon submission of first home application.

H) CBGB Logo will only be used with approval from CBGB.

3. CERTIFICATION

A) Member will submit application, along with payment for certification, to CBGB once they are ready to begin construction.

B) Builder will submit checklist to Raters and schedule inspections.

C) Rater will submit completed checklist to CBGB who will then process CBGB Green “Certified” certificate.

D) CBGB will process payment to Rater when completed.

4. BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

A) Members will be able to use the CBGB logo on home and marketing once application has been submitted.

B) CBGB “Certified” Logo will be provided to builder once home is certified.

C) Members will be provided promotional items for homeowners and builders to use certifying that home has been CBGB certified.

D) Certified homes will be listed on the CBGB website registry, once CBGB website is online.

E) Once program is approved by Corpus Christ Board of Realtors, all CBGB certified homes will have a special designation in MLS.

5. FEES

A) Enrollment Fee will be due at new member orientation, along with Builder Enrollment Form.
i. BACC member enrollment fee will be $250.00
ii. Non-BACC member enrollment fee will be $500.00

B) Home Certification Fee
i. $100. 00 flat rate fee up to 2200 sq. ft.
ii. An additional charge of .05 cents for every sq. ft. after 2200.

C) Annual Renewal Fee
i. BACC members $150.00
ii. Non-BACC members $300.00

D) Associates Sponsorship fees
i. $250.00 Sponsorship will provide sponsor with banner on Website, once website is set up, banner at new member orientation and table top at new orientation.
ii. $150.00 Sponsorship will provide sponsor with banner at new member orientation
iii. $50.00 Sponsorship will provide sponsor with access to CBGB “Associate” Logo.
