There are numerous benefits to joining the Builders Association!

Three Memberships In One As a member of the Builders Association– Corpus Christi Area, you will receive the benefits of three memberships in one You will automatically become a member of the Texas Association of Builders (11,500 members) and the National Association of Home Builders (235,000 members).

Representation on Government and Regulatory Issues That Effect Your Business As a member of the Builders Association– Corpus Christi Area, your interests will be represented at the local, state and national levels on issues of particular concern to the home building industry, as well as many issues pertaining to small business.

Current Housing and Business Information Your membership on the local , state and national level will provide you with numerous publications that will keep you up-to-date on the latest trends in homebuilding legal and regulatory issues, and other matters important to your business. You will receive a copy of the Builders Association– Corpus Christi Area Home Front newsletter that will keep you notified of local association meetings and activities. You will also receive a copy of Texas Builder from the Texas Association of Builders and Nation’s Building News from the National Association of Home Builders. Also, you will receive a copy of Builder Magazine which is published by Home Builder Press.

Education The Builders Association– Corpus Christi Area occasionally conducts educational programs on building industry issues of concern that are designed to improve your knowledge and skills as a builder and as a business person. Also, the National Association of Home Builders produces an annual International Builders Show with over 300,000 square feet of exhibits and over 300 educational seminars for builder and associate members of the association. The Texas Association of Builders produces an annual Sunbelt Builder Show with Education session and 330 exhibitors.

Promotional Opportunities Joining the Builders Association– Corpus Christi Area offers numerous opportunities for company’s to promote their services. Whether your interested in participating in regular association meetings, social gatherings and other association—sponsored events including the annual Parade of Homes, Home & Garden Expo, or golf tournaments, you are sure to have opportunities to promote your business. Numerous Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Mission Statement The Builders Association– Corpus Christi Area is a non-profit association of professionals, committed to the home building industry, affiliated with the Texas Association of Builders and the National Association of Home Builders. We are a unified voice and resource which provides education to our members and the community and promotes the value and benefits of new home construction.

General Membership Information Each member of the association shall be a person, firm, or corporation who qualifies for membership in accordance with the membership criteria and whose business operates within th Territorial jurisdiction of the Builders Association-Corpus Christi Area as defined by the National Association of Home Builders to include Nueces, San Patricio, Kleberg, Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kennedy and Live Oak Counties. Any applicant in a trade profession requiring a license/registration in the Sate of Texas shall provide proof of current license/registration and shall be in compliance with all laws applicable to such trade and such applicant has a duty to maintain current license/registration and remain in compliance with all laws for the duration of their menbership.

Builder Memberships - $455 Per Year
Builder Memberships shall be open to any person, firm or corporation whose business is the construction of new housing. Remodeler's are also classified as builder members and shall be open to any person, firm or corporation whose business is to remodel existing housing. Land developers are also classified as builder members and shall be open to any person, firm or corporation whose business is to develop land for single and multi-family housing.

Associate Memberships - $400 Per Year
Associate Memberships shall be open to any person, firm or corporation whose business is engaged in any allied trade, industry or profession of the building industry.

Affiliate Memberships - $100 Per Year
Affiliate Memberships shall be open to any employee of a member firm or corporation in good standing with the Builders Association - Corpus Christi Area. Affiliate memberships retrain no voting authority regarding association elections and policy.
